The FR3E Lions

When did the project begin? and How did you meet yourselves?

January 2013 (Biscuit and Major H)We grew up in the same street Major is actually 3years younger than me but we used to link up play some football just generally jammed together it weren’t till 2009 we started doing music together as part of The GBlock Family but that stopped in 2008 so we started The FR3E Lions and L.Plan

What song of yours is the one you like the most?

We like every track I think if we had to pick 1 though it would have to be The Place (This is Hip-Hop)

How do you write your music?

The Old School way Pen and Pad

musicsoundrocks2 - copiaWhat influences do you have?

To many but to name a few ,The place I live the way people act with us ,obviously Hip-Hop mostly Uk nowadays I grew up listening to Wu-Tang Dre,Snoop,Eminem, and then we got into Garage,Dancehall I even ran a sound with my good friend Black Knight which is where Lion Palm Beats came from (Lion Palm Sound)then we got into spitting rhymes ourself at this point it was mainly Grime and Hip-Hop but a bit less structured .With The Fr3e Lions we decided to stick with Hip-Hop and in particular Boom Bap so now we are influenced by the whole scene High Focus,RLD,Split Prophets, like I said to many (with more structure)

What´s the best experience you have had with your project?

Every bit of it just jamming with my brother from another mother making ill Hip-Hop smoking weed

What plans do you have this year?

Another Album is already being made should be out September hopefully

Mention something you don´t like about your project.

Mixing down is by far the longest thing about a project and if you don’t mix down your own stuff then you can’t possibly know
we do it all we make the beats then we write the bars then we structure it and mix it down

Mention the biggest sacrifice you did for your project.

Probably our own money Major Parted with roughly £300 to get it packaged and put on cd

What band, music project or solist from your city do you like? Why?

Tony Killah AKA A-Star this guy has done it all and has been a big influence in our time doing music always backed us and is the reason I spit bars

If your project was a word, what would it be?

– Exciting …….it’s the biggest buzz to record your own stuff and get to perform it live and to hear peoples feedback weather positive or negative

– Biscuit and im on my P.C the same one that has made the beats for the project at home
