When did the project begin?

I have just released the first single from my 5th record. It’s taken about 2 years from the start of the album till now

What song of yours is the one you like the most?

St Petersburg

Oh St Petersburg, you let me love you,
And then I drank your wine,
And then you winked your eye..
There’s nothin that I wouldn’t do
In front of anybody else here,
You planned it right, you planned it good.
We spent the lonely night,
The long long lonely night..
We tracked the city down,
I picked you up, Oh I picked you up,
In my new car..
There’s nothin that I wouldn’t do
In front of anybody else here.
You planned it right, you planned it good.
Baby got an attitude caught between the sun and the silver moon,
You planned it right, you planned it good.

How do you write your music?

Generally, I try to write all the time. I need to be inside though and spend a lot of time alone

What influences do you have?

This new album is influenced alot by early 80’s pop hits. It doesn’t really sound like that kind of album, but I like how when you think back to that era, it’s really space age and colourful.

musicsoundrocks2 - copiaWhat´s the best experience you have had with your project?

I love just being in the thick of it. actually in the process of making the music.

What plans do you have this year?

Later this year the whole album will come out.

Mention something you don´t like about your project

There was alot of downtime in between the start and finish of this record, and those times aren’t so fun. But that is because of the nature of the songs.

Mention the biggest sacrifice you did for your project.

I think actually paying for it all myself. It doesnt seem like a sacrifice, and I don’t look at it like that, cause it wasnt even a decision I had to make.. it’s how it is, and it’s cool like that.

What band, music project or solist from your city do you like? Why?

The Drones are a fantastic band, I’d call them a Melbourne band. And also Saul Jarvie put out a fantastic record last year ‘Existential Eczema’

If your project was a word, what would it be?

– Lasers

 – Tim Guy, I am sitting in my loungeroom in Melbourne, Australia.
